We are firm believers that passion and community are at the heart of all happiness. When we opened Elevenses on Scott we opened with the intention of not only feeding people but also feeding their inspiration and their joy. As a result we have put programs and opportunities in place for our community and customers to share their passions. The programs have connected a lot of people and that makes us smile!

Current Opportunities

  • A community notice space is provided for posting flyers and information on upcoming events (please supply your posting to staff and we will happily display it for you)

  • The cafe space is available for reservation and use Monday - Thursday evenings between 5-9pm for workshops, networking groups, meetings and private events. Community and not for profit groups enjoy the space at no charge. Events may be open to public participation or closed as a private function. For more information on this program please email michelle@elevensesonscott.com

  • We have an artist in residence program at the cafe in which local artists and photographers are invited to display their work for a period of 2-3 months. During this time the cafe may be used by the artist, after hours without charge, for lessons, talks, workshops and professional gatherings - essentially becoming an extension of an artist's studio space. Artists are also encouraged to feature their pieces for sale while on display.

  • In addition to hosting local artists we also make feature space available for local authors to display their books for sale and welcome them to use the space for readings and other public events at no charge.

You can keep track of current displays and upcoming events through our Facebook page. We welcome your inquires about participating in the cafe programs.

Artist in Residence

Currently in the cafe we are featuring an exhibition by The Art District Gallery.  The Gallery has recently moved to our DTK neighborhood, into their new permanent home at 185 King St E (Just at the top of Scott St on King). We wanted to extend a warm welcome and also help spread the word about the gallery. Please stop in to appreciate the collection from artists on display in the cafe and also stroll to the top of the street and admire the walls of the gallery and welcome The Art District Gallery to the Downtown!
